Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since November 11, 1996. Her debut came in the Bond film called A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as the archaeologist who was sympathetic to Nazis Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte as Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody began modeling when she was approached. The outcome proved to be a lucrative career. Doody was determined to steer clear of glamorous and sexy roles, that was a rule she applied in her acting. If she came to the director's attention in a James Bond film, Doody took on a part in A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was in John Willis Screen World Volume 2. The actress acted alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before taking perhaps her most well-known role to date as Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in which she starred alongside Harrison Ford. Doody has been in three films with James Bond actors. Doody played co-starring in 1991 with Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud called The Hitler Diaries. She then moved to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen and girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She was chosen to be the replacement for Cybill Shepherd who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody was a part of The 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine played her in a ceremony in recognition of an award. Doody was a co-star, along with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. She was also scheduled to play the lead role in The Asphyx remake, but that project fell through. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. She was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. Almeria the tierra de cinema award as well as an Almeria Walk of Fame star was presented on November 21st, 2018.
